How to get MAC address under Linux:

Open up a command shell and enter:

 

ifconfig

 

In the output of the above command, look for a line that says: HWaddr

There is a series of numbers and letters that you should write down in order to fill out the license form.

It should look like '00:0B:FB:AB:AC:F5'
